South Fork Brewing Co opened in 1933 and closed in 1940 it was open for 7 years. This brewery was open for quite a few years so it is easier to find items and advertising than some breweries that did not last long, this can make the Breweriana items less valuable. This listing was active during Prohibition which makes it an oddity. Some breweries were able to stay in business by producing "near-beer" which was very low alcohol, some switched over to bottling sodas or other beverages, some became Ice-houses or other related businesses. Our information indicates that South Fork Brewing Co was the only brewery that was located in South Fork, PA sometimes this means that items from a brewery will have extra value in the area it comes from because there are not other sources for local breweriana.
